Tech Acticle 3|30|12 - Ubi-Camera

A team at Japan's Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Science in Ogaki are working on an innovative prototype fingertip Ubi-Camera.The Ubi- Camera is to let the user's fingers set the frame. It's effective because it allows one to compose shots in a second without the hastle of waiting for the perfect angle, zoom etc. It'll give a new meaning to the term (digital) when it hits the market stock.
With this camera you can take a photo and use different motions, you can also attach you index finger, and form a retangel with your fingers in order for the frame to be as you wish. And when you push the side hard with your thumb, the shutter is pressed.Another thing that is great about the Ubi- Cam is that is is equipped with an infrared range finder that estimates the distance between the photographers hands and face so it draws the lenses closer. SO the perfect picture you imagined can be made possible. ~Watch the video below to see the Ubi-Camera in action!~
